Mathew Herbert has been giving training workshops for Direct Action for many years – I caught him, in the middle of one – for a few minutes, here is some advice. This workshop is for an Oct 16th 2010 protest in London against the Oil Industry.

Why did God put the Oil under the Muslims?

leave a comment »

Or, from an ‘earth mysteries’ (esoteric) perspective, did the people evolve a culture from the nature of their underground resources?

It is uncanny how much hydrocarbons are in Islamic territory.

[This is a large pdf of Pipeline wars, removed the anti Israeli rhetoric and there is no link to original.]

The war on the Muslims is often displayed as a fight for the oil resources. And while many will go with this fight, there are also many people saying it is an ideological and theological struggle.

I’d say it is all three: Resources, Ideological and Theological, and it is a marriage of convenience, each group can hide behind the other.

Yet the players in any one of those three departments are so zealous, they would happily fight for conquest alone.

It appears to me Islam in its most strict forms (Wahabi and Taliban?) is the antithesis of western hedonism. And hedonism is the fruit that is offered with the NeoCon sticks of dynamite.

Then there is a softer mystical form of Islam in the Sufis. Khomenei was a Sufi. The only differences between Shia and Sunni that I [think I] know are Sunnis appoint their holy men, Like the Christians and the Jews, but in the Shia faith anyone can be a holy man.

In Islam like in Catholicism and orthodox Judaism a man and a womans role in life are different, only Men can be in the preisthood.

Then in the West we have a secular society where the defense of gender bending has taken on a religious fervour.

So when some blogger says the war on terror is just for the oil, or for Zionist hegemony, or for secularising the Muslims, any and all answers are correct.

Just who is running our societies is a little mysterious. Surely the Bankers and creators of money must have ultimate power, yet they cannot cross the religious, because as we know, for some people ‘in the name of God’ anything is acceptable. Then the upholders of hedonism must at least make up the henchmen.

All a puzzle as we march to oblivion.

Forgive me if I made any factual mistakes

Was Iraq for oil? No.

Countries by the size of their (supposed) oil reserves

Was Iraq for oil?

In fact Iraqi oil was embargoed for ten years (and smuggling proliferated). It permitted Saddam to be defiant, much as it permits the Iranians and Russians, so it is not the oil the imperialists are after, it is the need to deny any independence through income to others.

It is dubious if the cost of the Iraq war can ever be repaid, and the oil concessions have been going to Chinese and other countries, yet America remains – for Israel.

Here is a typical comment (interestingly not heard very often in Britain):

On an article:

No one can ever say anything about Israel or they are condemned as a monster and a pariah in league with the Nazis. The Israelis are dictating our foreign policy and getting us into all kinds of wars and are protected by our politicians who know damned well if they dare speak out their careers are over. This latest example is another in a long line. Enough is enough! –source–

Israel cannot divide peacefully like Czechoslovakia did

leave a comment »

I would be afraid to quote a lot of the good writing on the net.

One blogger is listing the zionist control of the usa.

And so I ponder solutions, elucidations:

Imagine the motivation required to dictate invasions, conquests and domination.

These are highly charged people, and they rely on and expect an army to enact it all.

So imagine what is expected of a jew or an israeli, imagine the punishment for non compliance, and all the ways and means of coercion. Clearly loved ones are most important, and a threat to them should ensure obedience.

Seemingly Israeli society is polarizing, and surely many jews don’t want to know about participating in any supremacy.

President Shimon Peres warned of the possible disintegration of Israeli society due to internal strife. “The Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and other nations were destined to dissolve – both politically and culturally – because they were rotting away from the inside,” he said.

“True, we are in the midst of a crisis; there is no point in denying it. The disputes between us have intensified, ….. Source

If only Israel could divide peacefully like Czeckoslavakia did.

That is not possible, the settlers are amongst a sea of Palestinians.

Markets being manipulated solely to lower price of oil.

leave a comment »

As clear as day meets night is as clear as Europe was and is falling under Russia’s influence. Due to Russia’s oil recourses. This financial crisis is dramatially lowering the price of oil. And thereby Europe’s dependence on Russia.
There can be little doubt that the dollar and the US ecconomy were anyway expiring. But that has flown full charge into a global sinking of our financial system.

The Spin of the desirability of free markets and capitalism, is all it was anyway, just spin, to keep afloat a ruling oligarchy.

It is strange that all the talk of nationalising Banks, is not being extended to oil companies. There might be less war talk, if the oil was under government control instead of private investors.

Who is Behind the Financial Meltdown?

The market is heavily manipulated. The driving force behind the meltdown is speculative trade. The system of “private regulation” serves the interests of the speculators.

While most individual investors loose when the market falls, the institutional speculator makes money when there is a financial collapse.

In fact, triggering market collapse can be a very profitable undertaking.

Modern Jewry considers spirituality to be a matter of race

Any group worth its salt is now multinational. How else could they compete?

What a sorry state the west is in. So full of fear no one can trust each other. Laws are based upon a pyramid of riches. And pretty much anything goes, if the pyramid is supported.

Jews will remind me of my indebtedness. There is always a Jew in charge of me, wherever I go. Here it is obviously a gay Jew, very concerned for the inclusion of gay people. It is but an extension of the obligatory Jewish indebtedness.

Or perhaps the religious Jews just wish to affirm that I am a 2nd class human. As I chose not to follow their way.
