Mumbai: In the Israeli newspaper Haaretz 9 commenters voice suspicion of a false flag

From Haaretz:

Mumbai terrorist: We were told to kill Israelis

The only terrorist captured by Indian authorities following the Mumbai attacks told interrogators during questioning that he and his men were sent specifically to kill Israelis to avenge “atrocities” against the Palestinians, the Times of India reported Sunday.

Amir Kasab, 21, told investigators that this was why they targeted the Chabad House, also known as the Nariman House in Mumbai, an outreach center meant for local Jews and Jews touring India, including Israelis. Sources said Kasab’s colleagues killed in the operation had stayed at the Nariman House in the past.

“They have stayed in Nariman house on rental basis identifying themselves as Malaysian students.” said a source. Police were trying to determine why Nariman House rooms were given to non-Jews, the Times of India reported.

not with the telephone converstaion the one terrorist had with the media…made FROM the chabad house…
….
and IF they were “were sent specifically to kill israelis to avenge the “atrocities” against the palestinians”, then WHY, after over 48 hours of siege and combat, would this never once have been mentioned in ANY form whatsoever; INCLUDING a telephone call to the media in which one of them voiced grievances and demands?
personally, i find it MORE than a little bit “odd” that the first anyone hears of this comes via a police interrogation of an attacker a full day after the attack`s over, when in MOST similar scenerios; he`d be dead!

Yes, the attackers picked out conspicuous but `soft` targets: the Taj hotel, the Chabad house.
.
But once the targets were chosen, neither Jews nor Israelis nor even Westerners were especially targeted. The New York Times summary:
.
`Contrary to earlier reports, it appeared that Westerners were not the gunmen’s main targets: they killed whomever they could. By Saturday evening, 18 of the dead were confirmed as foreigners; an additional 22 foreigners were wounded, said Vilasrao Deshmukh, the chief minister of Maharashtra State, where Mumbai is located.`
.
Nearly two hundred people were killed: the overwhelming majority being Indian. Read accounts of the killings at the Chabad house: the rabbi…and the tailor next door, and the call center worker walking down the street. Say what you will, these were real equal-opportunity killers. They were happy to whack anybody.

Title: Does not make sense

This does not make any sense and is misleading. If these terrorists targeted Israelis, why did they carry out attacks against non-Israelis in the other locations (About 300 killed, and hundreds injured) ???
Clearly, the investigators are leaking misleading information.
This well-coordinated attack COULD NOT have been carried out without the assistance of sophisticated intelligence apparatus. The question we should ask.. What interest has Pakistan in doing that? What interest does the USA have in doing that?

Will India war with pakistan? No, Not at All!

with 5 comments

Yes India and Pakistan are competing in Afghanistan. India is building a road to Iran in order to bypass Pakistan. India is also occupying Kashmiri land that Pakistan claims. And they have fought wars and India helped Bangladesh braek free. And there are all sorts of communal frictions between Hindus and Muslims.
.
Nevertheless, now they are both Nuclear powers. Pakistan is out on a limb, with a faltering economy and few friends, and being bullied badly by the West, with the focus on unending US drone attacks, mostly on civilians.
.
Then there are the big business tycoons, who probably have the type of influential lobbies that we are accustomed to in the West. They might push for war and escalation.
.
India and Pakistan also represent the oldest continuous cultures on earth. And through the last years there have been many flare ups and rising possibilities of conflict, yet no war has broken out, and it did look likely at times.
.
It is hard to believe the terrorist attacks in Mumbai achieved anything at all that they were intended to do. Many circumstances turned what was planned into a nightmare. 9/11, 7/7 and Bali all unfolded and were presented internationally as the devils work with sure fire people to blame. And so it was to be expected Mumbai will be the same, but it won’t be.
.
The chaos of India is part of its charm, whatever organisation the culture has, it is covered in chaos. Everyone wants to interrogate, to ask questions, and there is such a variety of milieus there! A big middle class, in Mumbai particularly. Only partisan politics would prevent an uncovering of the true events and what happened. With an internet available, it is likely the truth will come out.
.
The likelihood of the true story resembling what we are being told today is slim. That these were barbarous murderers, that hijacked and killed the crew of a ship, that they fired indiscriminately into crowds of people, knowing there were Muslims amongst them is very unlikely. Yes somebody did, but it wasn’t them, according to this blog.

Mumbai; Blogs and articles accusing Israelis of involvement

with one comment

All the blogosphere (that I see) is trying to tie in the Mossad to the Mumbia atrocities.

This first article says the terrorists spent 2 weeks at the Chabad house. There are numerous reports that the first shots in Mumbaai came from that house.

Many more questions about the terror attacks

November 28, 2008 | 11:50 IST

Since we posted unanswered questions about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on Friday morning, many, many, many, readers have mailed us with their own questions that need to be investigated by the security agencies. If you wish to add questions to this list, please e-mail questionsterror@rediffmail.com. We will post the most relevant questions here.

  • How many terrorists were there? Did they number 20 as Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh told a press conference on Thursday? Or did they number many more? If two or three terrorists attacked the CST, how many terrorists were present at the Taj and Trident? Did the CST terrorists drop a grenade/explosive device at Dockyard Road on the way to the station? Or was someone else responsible for that act of terror which claimed three lives?
  • The terrorists are said to have set up control rooms at the Taj and Trident hotels, a Cabinet minister told PTI on Thursday. When were these bookings made? A detailed investigation into the bookings made at both hotels in the months, weeks and days before the attacks may reveal the names of suspicious guests who registered there.

Conspiracy theory: attacks used to eradicate police chief for upcoming political elections

    The Attack in Mumbai II

The cleanup operation in Mumbai are still ongoing as the police and army search and fight through two big hotels that were attacked. The latest casualties numbers are 125 dead, 327 injured.

As said before, there is something weird about these attacks.

    There was no clear target.

The major attacks were on a railway station, two big hotels, a multiplex movie theater and a bar. Two taxis were blown up. Two terrorists allegedly were at a hospital.

Of the dead only 6 were foreigners, of the wounded 7. While those hotels and the bar frequently have foreigners those numbers and the attack on the railway station and the cinema do not fit to an “attack on foreigners” scheme.

There also seams to be no special religious anti-Muslim or anti-Hindi scheme in this as no place of worship was attacked.
