I like Bagels.

Why don’t they make them from the Biblical wheat called Spelt, it is far healthier.

I also like a Matzabria, again why don’t they use Spelt for the Matzos as Moses probably did

Head of center in Rurrenabaque reports several Israelis arrested in number of police raids in recent days; center shut down. Rabbi says given no reason for raids, but rumors say they could be related to assassination attempt on president’s life

Bolivian police forces raided a Chabad center in the northeastern town of Rurrenabaque a number of times in recent days, ordered its closure and arrested a number of Israeli tourists who were staying there.

Rabbi Aharon Fraiman, who heads the center, told Ynet the police refused to give him a reason for the raid, but rumors throughout the town have linked the police activity to an assassination attempt on the Bolivian president last week.

On Wednesday, after the center temporarily resumed activity, Fraiman, who was almost arrested himself, said this was nothing more than a local dispute: “An anti-Semitic restaurateur who thinks we are hurting his livelihood is doing everything to get us out of here,” the rabbi said.

On Thursday, however, the multiple arrests, closure of the center and the local media’s coverage of police activity in the area, led the rabbi to believe it was something more: “Apparently it’s not him, but something bigger. He doesn’t have this much power”.

“Rumors floating around say that it has something to do with an assassination attempt on the president,” the rabbi said. “But on the other hand, the media is reporting all kinds of other things, like that the Chabad center here is involved in dealing drugs and the like.

“Meanwhile, I hired a lawyer here to handle the case, but this is not a law-abiding state, and so far, no one has told us what the commotion is about. They also haven’t showed us any closure injunctions.”

The emissary told Ynet about one Israeli tourist who was arrested by the Bolivian immigration police, taken to the airport in handcuffs and deported from the country. He also said there were a few others still under arrest.

An older post in reaction to the Mumbai terror attack:

There is a history of Chabad Houses not only being used as safehouses and logistics centers for Israeli intelligence but as storefronts for criminal activity. In March 1989, U.S. law enfocement rounded up a criminal network in Seattle, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Colombia, and Israel that involved a Chabad House that was involved in money laundering and currency violations.

The Associated Press reported from Newark, New Jersey that Adi Tal, a former employee of Israel’s El Al Airlines who emigrated to the United States from Israel in 1983, and his chief assistant Nir Goldeshtein, were found guilty by the U.S. District Court in Newark of laundering $25 million. The cash was sent to Panama and Colombia directly and smuggled to Britain, West Germany, and Israel as personal and cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash. The money was then wired to Panamanian bank accounts. Tal and Goldeshtein lived in Edison, New Jersey. They had moved there from Seattle. Goldeshtein had attempted to deposit $437,000 in Citibank’s London branch.

Federal prosecutors said Tal conspired with Jose Stroh, one of the Cali, Colombia drug cartel’s chief money launderers. Sixteen people were indicted in the case but five were never captured. Of the five, Nir Levy, Rea Lev-Ari, and Dov Feldman, escaped to Israel and avoided extradition back to the United States. Among the fugitives was Tal’s recruiter, Enrique Korc of Israel. Among those indicted was Rabbi Sholom Levitin, the founder and head of the Chabad House in Seattle. Tal claimed that the laundered money was Israeli “investments” and Levitin denied knowing that the money he was laundering was illegally obtained. Federal prosecutors said Tal told his “mostly Israeli operatives” that the money was not connected to organized crime but, according to the March 23, 1989 AP report from Newark, told them “the cash came from Israel for investment in the United States or that it was somehow connected to the Mossad, Israel’s secret service.”  –more–

Presstv: Obama could be assassinated, Israel not attack Iran, Chas Freeman interview

Israel will not attack Iran, Biden says

US Vice President Joe Biden

Wed, 08 Apr 2009 02:00:31 GMT

The US vice president has cautioned Israel against launching a military attack against Iran, saying such a move would be an ill-advised decision.

“I don’t believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu would do that. I think he would be ill-advised to do that,” Joe Biden said on Tuesday in an interview with CNN when asked about possible Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

“The Israeli government may ultimately see itself so threatened by the prospect of an Iranian nuclear weapon that it would take preemptive military action to derail or delay it,” Petraeus said last Wednesday.

Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi says US President Barack Obama could be assassinated like former presidents John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln.

Tue, 07 Apr 2009 22:50:02 GMT

“There is a fear that they would liquidate him [Obama] as they liquidated Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Abraham Lincoln,” Qadhafi said on Tuesday.

The African Union chairman did not mention who might want to kill the US president.

Praising Obama at a university gathering in Sirte, Qadhafi said, “Obama is a flicker of hope in the middle of the imperialist darkness.”

However, he expressed concern that the powers that be would not allow Obama to implement his plans.

“I fear that they could liquidate this young man or force him to submit to their imperialist policies.”

“He (Obama) speaks logically. Arrogance no longer exists in the American approach, which was previously based on dictating to the rest of the world in order to meet its own conditions,” Libyan state media quoted Qadhafi as saying.

President Obama, who used his signature “change” slogan throughout the presidential campaign, is now expected to fulfill his promise as he faces a number of foreign and domestic policy challenges.

Chas Freeman Interview on PressTV -Transcript

Fri, 03 Apr 2009 17:11:32 GMT
By Susan Moddares

The following is a Press TV interview with former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia Charles W. Freeman on the controversy surrounding his nomination and subsequent withdrawal form chairing the US National Intelligence Council.

Freeman: Well, I do not think that they are working on behalf of a foreign government, but that they are working on behalf of a faction in a foreign country, which is even worst.

What is it that they objected to about me? Well I am critical of the Israeli policy. I believe Israel’s policies are destructive to American interests and also to Israeli interests.

I do not see how Israel can continue to survive in the long term as a state in the Middle East if it is not prepared to deal with respect and consideration with its Arab neighbors, especially the Palestinians.

I think it is not an act of hostility to Israel to be critical but an act of friendship, and the failure to observe that, see that and agree with that is what I think is most detestable about this group of people.

Press TV: This “particular group of people” probably would not agree with you when you say that being critical of them is an act of friendship, because it seems that criticizing Israeli policies abroad is much easier than criticizing them here in the United States, almost a taboo among Washington policy makers.

Freeman: Well it is very much a taboo and it has been employed in the kind of tactics that were applied to me and the great irony is that the Israelis themselves are far more critical and in much harsher terms of their government’s policies than I have ever been.

It is a strange thing that Israelis can criticize these things and somehow Americans are not allowed to.

Top Barclays Banker Murdered, Also 5 Presidents who opposed the Fed (3 successfully)

Gang who killed top banker Frank McGarahan caught on CCTV

This murder of a top banking executive just happened, and the article reads as if it were a random or coincindental murder. In the times we are living in that is not necessary true.

To take a conspirational view; Is it not possible to stage manage such a scenario? Can’t a street fight be conjured?

The video (not released) is only of a gang running away.

And he is ‘believed’ to have shouted at a gang to stop attacking someone: See the word ‘believed’, makes it sound a little flakey.

And why was a top banker out at 3.oo am (away from his home town) awaiting a midweek christening later that day in the middle of a full blown banking crisis?

His brother was injured, he will be in no mood for interviews. And even a doorman who intervened got a broken jaw. And Doormen at 3.00 am are normally pretty well built.

Detectives hunting the killers of a senior banking executive are today hunting for at least five men who are believed to have been caught on CCTV running from the scene of the street attack early on Sunday morning. The WTC 7 collapse series: Breaking: Barry Jennings Uncut

September 17, 2008 by travellerev

On the 19th August 2008 Barry Jennings died.

It has taken a month to get this confirmed. It is impossible to find out how he died and nobody who knew him wants to talk about it. Barry Jennings was the most outspoken witness and described explosions before the Twin towers collapsed in WTC 7. His secretive death at 53, two days before the preposterous NIST rapport tries to explain the 6.5 sec. freefall speed as the result of “Thermal expansion” of one steel beam is suspicious to say the least.

Please down load this video and spread it viral around the web.

‘Kelly was Murdered’ Says UK Intelligence Insider

Simon Aronowitz: ThoughtCrimeNews.com

Shocking new details about the death of Dr David Kelly emerged exclusively today on the Alex Jones radio show . Michael Shrimpton, a UK national security lawyer who was a guest on the show, revealed that sources within MI5 and MI6 are `furious’ that Kelly was murdered.

Shrimpton spoke in depth about the details of Kelly’s murder on 17th July 2003, information which has been withheld by the British press.

With apparent backing from the organisations whose members he claims to speak for, Shrimpton presented their view that Dr Kelly had been murdered by a team of assassins and the charade of an apparent suicide was then played out to cover this up.

Times: Israeli ‘suicide cop’: family refute claims that he killed himself

Israeli ‘suicide cop’: family refute claims that he killed himself

My best guess is that he was shot, some commenters state there were reports of multiple shots.

In the world of VIP security, if ones loyalties were compromised, assassination would be the preferred punishment.

Possibly he was against Olmert or Peres, who knows? Security would have let the whole saga unfold with the music playing as it was.

We are unlikely to ever know the truth.

Or he had shown intent to enact a guilty choice. A fictitious coup? If security want to find out what you are made of, they have ways and means.

So I am saying, entrapment, setup, foreknowledge of his activities etc.

In an era of McCarthyism it is all very dangerous.

Maybe he knew too much?

Apart from the Times article above, there are also commenters who start wondering what really happened in the following article:
