‘No deal can stop Hamas from rearming’

Hamas says it will not accept any agreement which prevent the transfer of arms to the movement which ‘is necessary for defending Gazans’.

A long term agreement “will kill the resistance, which is the Palestinian people’s legitimate right as long as the occupation continues to exist,” Ismail Radwan, a Hamas spokesman was quoted by the Yediot Ahronot as saying Sunday.

The remarks were made while a Hamas delegation is in Cairo to negotiate a lasting Egyptian-brokered ceasefire with Israel.

Osama Hamdan, a Hamas representative in Lebanon, earlier reiterated that nobody is entitled to deprive the movement from rearming.–more–


Israel resorts to animals against Hezbollah

Fears over Hezbollah’s moves against Israel have prompted the regime’s military to resort to using antelopes to fight the Lebanese movement.

The animals have been deployed to the northern borders of Israel to clear the foliage which the military fears could function as cover Hezbollah fighters, the daily Ha’aretz reported.

Antelopes are known for their ability to eat large quantities of vegetations.–more–
