MSM (Times) reporting the making of Suicide bombers and student occupations

The strangest thing about this article, is that it appears.

What happened to all the other suicide bombers?

We never hear about them, unless it is to say they have been brainwashed.

The Mainstream media (outside the US) and the people have had enough of Israel’s brutality. It is a cumulative effect. The million cluster bombs over Lebanon barely got a mention.

The blockade is a large part of it. And that Hamas was legally elected. Israel is just plain out of sync with all the world. And humans naturally side with the weaker. It is only a wonder this situation didn’t occur earlier.

Burns victim vows to be suicide bomber while Israelis ask: ‘Was it all worth it?

In Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, Sabah Abu Halima, her body covered with burns from what are believed to be phosphorus shells, her husband and four of nine children dead, dreams of becoming a suicide bomber.

“I pray to Allah that I will have revenge, I pray and dream of killing myself among the Israelis,” she says. “I hope that on the last day of my life I kill as many of them as possible and make myself a martyr.”

Israel had hoped that its offensive would sow discontent with the Hamas movement, which had promised to turn the coastal territory into “a graveyard for Israeli soldiers”. Nearly 1,300 Palestinians were killed and thousands more wounded, according to local medics, while only 13 Israeli soldiers died — a statistic which allowed Israel to proclaim itself the victor of the war.

Hamas is believed to have about 1,000 missiles in its arsenal and there is no shortage of fresh volunteers at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. “I want to be a resistance fighter to avenge what has been done to my family,” says Yousef, Sabah Abu Halima’s injured 16-year-old son.

“Nobody can guarantee that I will live anyway. The bombs can come back any day. I want to fight and I hope that I can be a member of the armed resistance.”

The Guardian reports of ongoing student protests:

Protests over Gaza spread to eight English universities

More than 80 students at Oxford occupied part of the historic Bodleian building today to demand that the university release a statement condemning the attack on Gaza, and cancel a lecture series at Balliol College inaugurated by Shimon Peres, the president of Israel.

At Warwick, students started an occupation last night demanding the university sever links with companies supplying equipment used in the conflict.

At King’s College London, students have demanded the cancellation of an honorary degree for Peres, a demand rejected by the university. Trainor, the vice-chancellor of King’s and president of the vice-chancellors’ umbrella group, Universities UK, has said: “UUK supports calls for an end to the conflict in and beyond Gaza. We are particularly aware that many of the civilian casualties have occurred in educational establishments. –more–

And Jewsansfrontiers has more on it:

Occupation! Occupation! Occupation!

Birmingham University, Kings College London and Sussex University all have occupations on the go with various demands regarding their own establishments and Gaza or Israel. Here are the demands of the Kings College London students –more–
