To touch or not to

How can Amma go around hugging everyone? She is world famous for this. She has so much love in her heart. She is admired very much, and of course she is from India where she has an Ashram.
I spend half my time worrying about who I am running into. And shaking hands I could live without. I don’t think it denotes sincerity.
Nikola Tesla (google 1,420,000 results), the father of modern science, wouldn’t allow anyone to touch him.
Harish Johari (google 77,500 results)… Another genius Guru (or author) (who also indulged in modern drink) said a person should always maintain a personal space of an arms length. After all we do have an Aura.
Last on the list would be Franz Kafka (Google 2,980,000 results) , he couldn’t form a relationship with anyone.
ps can’t google Amma without getting abbreviations, but she’s still first on the list www.amma.org .
