Israel died last night, it really really did!

leave a comment »

Logistically it cannot wage a war on all the enemies it has made. Syria, Lebanon, Iran and now Turkey, and of course the world’s citizens. It doesn’t understand the sentiment of the world, because of an underlying contempt for non Jews. Israel is supported by the richest nations and their biggest corporations. And even with all of Fort Knox funneled into Israel, it cannot survive. In fact the lack of a recession, the lack of economic reality is Israel’s very real enemy.
.
The entire population supported in a false cocoon.
.
Israel’s defence Minister Ehud Barak will surely go to pasture, years of blunders, Lebanon, Gaza and now the Flotilla. Unfortunately no one is going to replace him that will make the smallest bit of difference. Then there is Lieberman, Bibi etc. And all supported by secret shadowy interests. Let us at least be clear on one thing: “Jews kill”. Mostly those that cannot defend themselves.
.
The Irish Foreign Minister is threatening serious consequences if any harm comes to the Irish, who are on their way to Gaza. Doesn’t he know Israel’s friends will break the Irish economy overnight, and they won’t lose any sleep doing it. And isn’t he aware of the unfortunate accidents that would befall his family?

.

.
The Jews in (and out of) Israel are so much in the dark about how their country is run. Maybe one in three people work for security, all of them have classified information, so their souls are tortured with secrets. And all the time the “pride” of being Jewish is shovelled on everyone. Most people are not even religious, yet they dare not question what it means to be Jewish? It means supporting a Kosher Nostra, Fiat money, homosexuality (sorry to mention it, but it is a fundamental part of the ruling governments conducting our genocidal wars), and for a fortunate few, they are allowed to be waived as “the good Jew”, maybe they are involved in Art or similar.
.
But the real nitty gritty is about vicious unilateralism. And with the way that world Jewry’s private Israel project is kept going, a shrouded secret, we are left with fascists, largely because they are unaware of reality, only they know myths, and most of the real workings of the state and its supporters are considered “classified” info. So there is a naivety in the Israelis, what an irony to say that murderous butchers are naive, but it is true. Anyway naivety is no excuse, and no defence.
.
Yes Israel died last night, it will never get up, and all because it wanted to punish one and half million Gazan’s who were evicted from their original homes. And it wanted to punish the Humanitarian aid workers (apparently the IDF was complete with assassination lists). We are allowed to point fingers at the politicians, and to criticise them, but we dare not point to the powers behind them. Soon it will be time to write an orbituary for the Jewish Century, courtesy of Israel.

btw: Turkey has the eighth largest navy (in terms of staff) in the world, and the third largest in Europe in terms of displacement. They have the second largest standing military in NATO (behind the US, of course). Turkey isn’t some kind of pushover. from: reddit.com

PBS video why aren’t the names of the dead and injured published

Transcript:

GWEN IFILL: Now, for a closer look at the action and reaction surrounding the high seas standoff, we turn to voices on each side of the issue.

A short time ago, I spoke with Adam Shapiro, a board member of the Free Gaza Movement. He helped organize this trip, and his wife took part in the convoy.

Adam Shapiro, welcome.

How long has this flotilla movement been in the works?

ADAM SHAPIRO, Free Gaza Movement: We have been planning this flotilla since July 2009, when our last effort to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza was stopped by Israeli forces in the waters, and we were detained.

Upon release, we started organizing this flotilla to make it bigger, to bring in more partners and to attract as many ships as possible. And we ended up with six ships on this mission, three cargo ships, and two — and three passenger ships.

GWEN IFILL: So, let’s be clear. You were on a previous flotilla or a previous ship that tried to break this blockade.

ADAM SHAPIRO: Yes. In July 2009, I was on the Spirit of Humanity ship that was — we were stopped just outside of Gaza’s waters. And we were dragged into the Israeli port of Ashdod and detained for about 10 days.

GWEN IFILL: Have you been able to talk to your wife since last night’s events?

ADAM SHAPIRO: No. The last time I spoke to my wife was just moments before her boat was captured. Since then, her and all of the passengers have been held incommunicado. Even the injured are being held in secret locations in Israeli hospitals.

We have no access to the injured people. And even, unfortunately, the names of the dead have not been released by Israel, which, at this point, forces us to — to ask the question, why is Israel keeping the names of the dead a secret?

Operation Mini Cast Lead
By Gideon Levy

Like in “Mini-Israel,” the park where there is everything, but smaller, Israel embarked yesterday on a mini Operation Cast Lead. Like its larger, losing predecessor, this operation had it all: the usual false claim that is was they who had started it – and not the landing of commandos from helicopters on a ship in open sea, away from Israeli territorial waters. There was the claim that the first act of violence came not from the soldiers, but the rioting activists on Mavi Marmara; that the blockade on Gaza is legal and that the flotilla to its shores is against the law – God knows which law.

….

Yesterday there was no one on the planet, not a newsman or analyst, except for its conscripted chorus, who could say a good word about the lethal takeover.

The Israel Defense Forces too came out looking bad again. The magic evaporated long ago, the most moral army in the world, that was once the best army in the world, failed again. More and more there is the impression that nearly everything it touches causes harm to Israel.

The price of flawed policy
Relations with Turkey will probably deteriorate further, and there may even be serious damage on the official level.
Haaretz Editorial

When a regular, well-armed, well-trained army goes to war against a “freedom flotilla” of civilian vessels laden with civilians, food and medication, the outcome is foretold – and it doesn’t matter whether the confrontation achieved its goal and prevented the flotilla from reaching Gaza. The violent confrontation, whether caused by poor military planning or poor execution, resulted from flawed policy, wars of prestige, and from a profound misunderstanding of the confrontation’s meanings and repercussions.

the question was not who would win the confrontation, but who would win more public opinion points. In this test, Benjamin Netanyahu’s government failed completely. Israel let its policy of maintaining the siege on Gaza become an existential matter. This policy boomeranged and cost Israel its international legitimacy.

MK Zoabi: Israel wanted highest number of fatalities

Arab Knesset member who participated in Gaza aid flotilla holds press conference says, ‘It was clear from size of force that boarded ship that purpose was not to stop sail, but to cause largest number of fatalities to prevent future initiatives’

Just like we do not impose a blockade on Syria or on Lebanon, we shall know where the limits of our power lie, and when we choose to use it, we won’t do it with one hand tied behind our back. Meanwhile, it would also be good to make President Obama aware of where his policy is leading to.

Gaza Freedom flotilla carried world-renowned names and veteran activists

Author Henning Mankell and Nobel peace laureate Mairead Corrigan-Maguire among more than 600 passengers

The largest flotilla launched to challenge the Gaza blockade also carried the most passengers, well over 600 people, believed to include 27 from the UK. Internationally renowned names were on board, among them activists, authors, film-makers, politicians and journalists from Europe, the Middle East, the US and Canada.

Among the most famous is Henning Mankell, author of the best-selling Wallander series of crime novels. Mankell had been scheduled to speak to the Hay festival on Saturday night by live link from the boat, but the connection failed.

One of the best-known international activists is Huwaida Arraf, born in the US to an Israeli Arab father and Palestinian mother, co- founder in 2001 of the International Solidarity Movement, which campaigns against Israel‘s actions in the West Bank and Gaza. He was on the Challenger.

Also on board was the Nobel peace laureate Mairead Corrigan-Maguire, co-founder of Northern Ireland’s Peace People and a veteran of the Gaza flotillas, who was briefly jailed last year when Israel intercepted and towed a flotilla.

The Scottish journalist and documentary film-maker Hassan Ghani, 24 and from Glasgow, was on board the Mavi Marmara, the Turkish vessel attacked by Israeli forces. He was seen broadcasting for PressTV as the commandos took control of the ship. In footage shown on YouTube, Ghani said: “This is the MC Marmara, Hassan Ghani reporting for PressTV. We’ve had several injuries here; one is critical. He has been injured in the head and we think he may die if he doesn’t receive medical treatment urgently. Another person being passed in front of me right now has been seriously injured. We are being hit by tear gas, stun grenades. We’ve navy ships on either side. We’re being attacked from every single side. This is international waters and not Israeli waters, not in the 68-mile exclusion zone. We’re being attacked in international waters completely illegally.”
