The Israeli foreign ministry situation room has been unable to reach 5 Israeli families who were staying at the Chabad center in Mubai when al Qaeda gunmen staged coordinated attacks on 11 mostly tourist locations across the city Wednesday, Nov. 26. They left more than 100 dead and another 300 injured. CNN reported the bodies of two adults and a boy were found outside the Chabad center which has been seized by the terrorists who may be holding Israeli hostages. It is now surrounded by police and gunfire is heard from the building. Chabad’s Web site reports contact has been lost with the center’s manager Gavriel Holzberg. . Scores or hundreds of Western hostages, including Israelis, were herded in the Taj Palace and Oberoi hotels, parts of which are still on fire as police battle the gunmen reinforced by commando forces from India’s ground, sea and rapid deployment units. Some hostages may also be held in a hospital. A group of Israeli diamond merchants was staying at the Taj. The unknown Islamist group Deccan Mujahideen, believed to be al Qaeda, has taken responsibility for the attacks carried out with automatic Kalashnikov rifles, grenades and explosives. The Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare and other officers of the ATS have been killed. These were the same people who were investigating the Malegaon Blasts–in which Praggya Singh, an army officer and several other noted personalities of the BJP-RSS-Bajrang Dal-VHP were arrested. . Our worst fears have come true. It is clear that Mossad is involved in the whole affair. An entire city has been attacked by Mossad and probably units of mercenaries. It is not possible for one single organization to plan and execute such a sophisticated operation. It is clear that this operation was backed by communal forces from within the Indian State. The Home Minister Shivraj Patil should resign. The RSS-BJP-VHP-Bajrang Dal should be banned. Advani and others ought to be arrested. Today is a day of shame for all Indians and all Hindus. Muslims and secular Hindus have been proven right. RSS type forces and Israel are all involved in not only destabilizing but finishing India. India should immediately snap all relations with Israel. . Report: 6 Israelis held hostage in Mumbai . Terrorists seize Chabad offices in Indian city, reportedly hold six Israelis hostage. Local police reported that terrorists took over the Chabad offices at around 4:30 am Thursday and appeared to be holding the family of the organization’s emissary, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, hostage. Gunshots have been heard from inside the building. Local media reported that there were six Israelis in the building. . A woman and a child were reportedly seen leaving the building safely on Thursday morning. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Yossi Levy confirmed that the rabbi’s two-year-old son and his nanny were released. Chabad officials said Holtzberg and his wife Rivka are unconscious. . Indian commando Amit Tiwari told Reuters that one of the gunmen had been killed, but at least four armed men remained in the building. “It is not clear what the gunmen want,” Tiwari said.
