How to maintain an empire?
Or even, how to let it go peacefully?
Obviously in a large empire things go wrong, there are rogue elements, and indeed elements that are below par, that create false avenues, and lead us to waste our energy.
But the old guard in the highest of authority, does not want criticism, it is after all, God’s word that is followed.

Why wouldn’t they yield, and allow the Arabs independence from the Zionist empire? Well, in 2009 such questions were academic.

So much of the Jewish policing and efforts went into family values, yet an empire of fear was all that evolved. Conversely when looking at the Muslims, they were often more strict regarding family values. With regard to a world empire, Muslims, like the Jews were equally open to the entire world taking on their values.
So why did the Jews fail? According to the Neocons the problem was simply geographic, that so much of the oil was under the land of Muslims.

Really the problem was the resistance of the Israelis, that is, Jews who went to Israel, or indeed Jews who supported Israel to accept Muslims as equals. The Zionists had most of the world in their pocket, yet they blew it, because they had an arcane hatred for Islamic family and economic laws, it is as if Muhammad looked at the Jewish way and then created alternatives.
Jews did a lot of business with Arabs, outside of oil it was mostly criminal, but either way it was all done in secrecy, so even the majority of Jews were kept in the dark. Judaism became: ‘Do as I say, not as I do’.
The other issue was Islam had a code of ethics and laws regarding finance and economy, whereas in the West we ended up with a ‘let it rip’ mentality. There was so much financial skulduggery, nobody knew right from wrong, it was the financial collapse that was the Judaic collapse.
All anyone knew was: praise God and Judaism, that mantra worked for both Jews and Gentiles.

The Muslims banned alcohol and got away with it, whereas all western attempts ended up with bootlegging. The Jews were more libertarian, believing an individual has his or her own volition, their own moral responsibility to know when enough is enough. But the problem was everything was indulged in excess, yes , including financial control of everything. Practice as you preach was selective, and the social fabric broke down. Fear became the only currency of control, because there was no higher ground, and crime found its way into every nook and corner.
An ancient Greek philosopher said: Nothing in excess, everything in moderation. Carved into a temple of Phoebus Apollo at Delphi. And he has been quoted ever since.
When the Greeks said Μηδὲν ἄγαν (Nothing in excess), they meant in all aspects of life – in politics, ethics, aesthetics, culture, art, architecture, psychology and so on – defiance of which invited hubris, discord and catastrophe and amounted to the repudiation of what the Greeks aspired to more than anything – living with beauty and truth.

The Greeks represent reason and inquiry, Socialism and Communism are ideas born from rational thought and they are non religious. They come in more and less intrusive varieties. Probably we are headed for an attempt at a world government that would aspire to more globalisation and trade and debt. That is all we have known so far, and we have enjoyed it, maybe global free trade is not sustainable, even if the Credit Crunch was man made, it will unleash the unexpected, maybe the end of globalisation. It is curious that suddenly Somali Pirates appear, offering another nail in the coffin of trade. And those pirates are there because of the Neocon inspired invasion to unseat the Somali Muslims. Talk about Hindu Karma…
The human suffering generated by the wholesale raping of the earth and its abundant resources is irrelevant, as long as profits continue to flow. Acts of desperation taken to remedy the suffering caused by this world-rape, such as the financial bail-out and the resource wars in the Middle East, are emergency measures intended to maintain the constant flow of profit, nothing more.
