The G20 meeting was Much ado about nothing

econhoneymoon

.

The G20 meeting was about nothing, or it was all secrets. Not any post summit statement is revealing of a policy shift.

.
There seems to be some concern for lowering taxes, increasing regulations, having an early warning system for future bubbles, thwarting protectionism, lowering interest rates, and generally reflating.

.
With an emphasis on world institutions like the IMF and the World Bank, one guesses this is a stepping stone towards a world government. Our leaders know a problem is an opportunity.

.
The absence of a declining dollar, or a rise in gold, suggests the credit crunch is somewhat engineered and controlled. Nevertheless there is likely to be unforeseen consequences, all pointing to the shift in power from NATO countries to the East.

.
All the discussions are on how to maintain the system, a capitalist system we are all accustomed to. No leader dare question capitalism itself. Even though our oligarchs are more and more in the limelight.

Soros is a good example of what an oligarch can do. He is well known, and if he weren’t doing what he does, undermining other countries, then someone else would be doing it. Which means it is our system that needs examining, not really the individuals. Our system is allowing millionaire directors from failed companies to be in the highest public office.

.
Soros  made billions in a short space of time (weeks) when Sterling was under pressure in the 80’s. Then he spends that money encouraging the overthrow of other governments. This is the Capitalism we live under, kind of a gangsterism.

.

The recognition of Man’s weakness for self interest is now manifested in Millionaires and Billionaires. And these people participate in bringing down Governments and cultures. The question is not if they are right or wrong, but ‘who are they to be doing these things?’ Someone with a nose for speculative opportunity, also sets themselves up as moral house keeper for other nations.

George Soros, the currency speculator is one of the primary elements in subverting traditional societies in order that they better fit into a new world order. Soros backs on a world scale what might loosely be termed the contemporary version of the ‘New Left’. He brings down governments via subversion, moral rot and revolution through financial patronage,

.

Soros has established a network of think tanks, lobbies and fronts to promote sundry causes, from feminism and abortion, to narcotics liberalisation and the stream of ‘velvet revolutions’ that have resulted in ‘regime change’ throughout the former Soviet bloc. Source

.

The Social consciousness of communism and socialism has all disappeared. Now there is nationalism and religious concern for the family. In reality now there is social decay, crime, fear and deviance everywhere.

.

Einstein was concerned (in the 50’s):

Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the … population. Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective .conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights….

The profit motive, in conjunction with competition among capitalists, is responsible for an instability in the accumulation and utilization of capital which leads to increasingly severe depressions. Unlimited competition leads to a huge waste of labor, and to the crippling of the social consciousness of individuals

.

This crippling of individuals I consider the worst evil of capitalism. Our whole educational system suffers from this evil. An exaggerated competitive attitude is inculcated into the student, who is trained to worship acquisitive success as a preparation for his future career. …

.

I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion. A planned economy, which adjusts production to the needs of the community, would distribute the work to be done among all those able to work and would guarantee a livelihood to every man, woman, and child. The education of the individual, in addition to promoting his own innate abilities, would attempt to develop in him a sense of responsibility for his fellow men in place of the glorification of power and success in our present society. Beware Capitalists:
Marx speaking one hundred years before Einstein: Let there be a free market, it will lead to a world government, and capital will be in fewer and fewer peoples hands, only then will the impoverished rise and revolt!

Marx Paraphrased on free trade:

Picture From: breakthroughgen.org

Karl Marx advocated Free Trade, i.e. Capitalism, because (a) whereas Protection builds up the nation-state, Free Trade breaks it down, as a prelude to the creation of a world-state by the Capitalists (b) Free Trade breaks down traditional culture, as a prelude to the creation of a world culture (c) Free Trade exacerbates class warfare, and through this the Capitalists will lose control of the world-state – they will be defeated by the impoverished classes, with the help of their backers in the higher classes. Governments could plough money into small farm holdings, and give people plots of land. Governmental policies need to diverge from the needs of the financial oligarchs.

Let the last quote of this post finish with a commenter on an article about the G20 summit:

They may have ideas but they are all under the gun of the international financial powers. This is why I have said time and again that the idea of a necessity of a monetary medium of exchange will have to go-and it will go. Their power has to be destroyed and until it does there will be no solving this international crisis.

by chestergimli on 16.11.2008 [17:45 ]

.

This particular international financial crisis is simply about lending with interest. ALL the efforts being made, are about increasing liquidity so that the money markets wil lend money, this crisis is about funneling the money through money lending institutions! And the more moneyed capitalism we see, so the more crime there will be.

.

The Incas never had locks on their doors, we have to return to that!

The Group of 20’s Washington summit on the global financial crisis can be charitably described as a waste of time. The world’s leaders agreed to fluff with no bearing on today’s structural problems and maintained confidence in the institutions that led the world into this mess. As bad, leaders of countries such as Brazil, China and India bought into this malarkey.
