The word assassinate came from Persia.

leave a comment »

The word assassinate comes from the Arabic word Hashishan.

.

Because young men spent days in a harem with lots of Hashish before they were sent out to exterminate an individual. There are of course conflicting accounts, some say no Harem, some say no Hashish.

.

The Hashishans were originally from Persia from before the 14th Century.

.

Here is a Wikipedia quotation:

Hashshashin fortress of Alamut.

Hashshashin fortress of Alamut.

The Hashshashin (also Hashishin, Hashashiyyin, Hashasheen or Assassins) were an offshoot of the Ismā’īlī sect of Shia Muslims. After a quarrel about the succession of leadership in the ruling Fatimide dynasty in Cairo around the year 1090, the losing Nizāriyya faction were driven from Egypt. They established a number of fortified settlements in present day Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon under the charismatic leader Hasan-i Sabbah. Persecuted as infidels by the dominant sunni sect in the Muslim world, they sent dedicated people to eliminate prominent Sunni leaders, whom they considered “impious usurpers.” The sect was decimated by the invading Mongols, their last stronghold being flattened by Hülegü Khan in the year 1272.

Some scholars believe the term Hashshashin, a name given to them by their enemies, was derived from the Arabic “haššāšīn” (حشّاشين, “hashish user”), which they are alleged to have ingested prior to their attacks, but this etymology is disputed. The sect referred to themselves as al-da’wa al-jadīda (Arabic:الدعوة الجديدة), which means the new doctrine, and were known within the organization as Fedayeen.

Are our rivers melting the North Pole?

    with one comment

The news that scientists have said the North pole this summer may be Ice Free is now a few days old. However having seen the headline again, I’d like to comment.

North Pole may have ice-free summer
    Sat, 28 Jun 2008 22:53:26

Leading American ice scientists say there is a fifty percent possibility that the North Pole will experience its first ice-free summer.

    www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=61847&sectionid=3510208

What I wonder is Schauberger (an undisputed authority on water) said that rivers (in the Northern Hemisphere) when they get to the sea head north to the north pole to cool down. Water is always trying to reach its most dense state -4 degrees Centigrade.

Why do rivers flowing into cold seas migrate laterally to the north?

    Victor Schauberger
    http://merlib.org/mirror/frank.germano.com/viktorschauberger_2

This aspect (the rivers melting the pole) is never cited in ecology arguments. Our rivers must be warming up from industry. And I wonder how much nuclear energy heats up the water. The water cooling and steam generation from Nuclear Power is absolutely fundamental to its functioning.

More on Schauberger at his home page: http://www.pks.or.at
And here are some more of his statements, just to wet your appetite. And these are from the merlib.org link above:

    RIVERS
Why do west-to-east flowing watercourses fertilize their banks?

Why are the banks of east-to-west flowing rivers so barren?

Why are the banks of south-to-north flowing watercourses fertile on one side only?

Why do rivers flowing into cold seas migrate laterally to the north?

Why do deltas and estuaries develop?

Why does a trout stand still in a raging torrent, as if by magic?

Why does a top stand upright when it is spun from the side?

I think most (if not all) of the above quotes are from the book Nature As Teacher part 2 Schauberger.

David Icke to Stand in UK’s ‘BIG BROTHER’ by-election

    leave a comment »

David Icke to Stand in UK’s ‘BIG BROTHER’ by-election
    By: stpwar on: 27.06.2008 [17:34 ] (73 reads)

The UK Conservative Party Home Affairs Spokesman, David Davis, has resigned his parliamentary seat in the constituency of Haltemprice and Howden, which includes Hull in the east to the outskirts of Goole in the west and northwards to Holme-on-Spalding-Moor.

Davis resigned in protest at the fast-emerging Big Brother State (which I have warned was coming for the last nearly 20 years). The final straw for Davis was the passing recently of a law that allows the authorities to hold ‘terrorist suspects’ for 42 days without charge. He resigned and will seek to return to Parliament in this by-election on July 10th on the issue of the Big Brother society.

Britain’s other major political parties, the Liberal Democrats and the governing Labour Party of Tony Blair and current Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, have announced that they won’t be standing against him. The Liberals say they are doing this because they support his stand and the Labour Party say they won’t put up a candidate because the election is ‘a farce’.

For ‘a farce’ read: ‘We know we would get slaughtered because of the massive scale of public opinion against the gathering Big Brother state.’

I am not standing to oppose David Davis as such because I have no wish to be elected to Parliament and get stuck in that irrelevant web of deceit and corruption.

A commenter has linked to a Youtube video of Icke the politician, and the rest of the article is here:

Hizbollah demanding Palestinians released in prisoner swap

    leave a comment »

Haaretz is reporting that Israel will likely be including Palestinian prisoners in its exchange with Hizbollah.

Until recently Israel always tried to keep its enemies apart. Witness the seperate peace deals with Egypt and Jordan.

But now Hizbollah have punctured that balloon.

It also seems to confirm that Hizbollah attacked in 2006 out of support for the Palestinians, as opposed to its own agenda, Israel had been pummeling the Gaza strip for about a month earlier.

And while I have never seen it publicised it would seem to suggest a united armed front is in support of the Palestinians.

Or put another way, if Israel attacked Gaza, might it expect retaliation from Hizbollah.

Being the nieve soul I am, I don’t understand why Res 242 does not promise peace for everyone.

Had the War on Terror not rebounded then maybe Israel wouldn’t feel so vulnerable. But the War on terror has crippled the Bush Administration. And united its enemies.

And if it has done so in the South, why not vis-a-vis Hezbollah as well? After all, the prime minister boasted to Nasrallah that the kidnapping of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser was one kidnapping too many. But with such demonstrations of fortitude on the part of both the government and the citizens, is it any wonder that on the verge of completing the deal, Nasrallah added Palestinian terrorists to the list of those to be released?

Harassing the innocent – the Jewish NeoCon way

    leave a comment »

    Micromanaging people.
    As above so below.
That’s what the Greek Hermes said.
And so in hegemonic pursuit, it is necessary to tell countries what to say and what to do.
And so it is with individuals.
And if they won’t wave your flag. Then harassment 24/7 is applied.

    I outgrew my Mother.
    Such sacrilege!
    Worse than genocide!
    The punishment will be fitting.
    Spiked food at home, or
Just when you are having a casual drink in a cafe or bar.
Or will we lace your clothes with a biological drug.
These are daily decisions being made worldwide everyday.
Once you are in hospital we can finish you off.
Or we’ve got the hundred crimes with your fingerprints on the evidence.
You were never allowed to make a friend again.
All inquiries will reveal a loner/traveler with no legitimacy.

    .

    Why the sudden anger?
Yesterday I am walking along the promenade and it soon becomes apparent I am being followed. So I challenge the guy.
Well someone stole a bag a few days ago, and I look like the suspect. Apart from being photographed in an aggressive stance with this guy. Apart from being flat on my back ill for the past week, and apart from not having been in that area for weeks. We have to wait for the police. They empty my bags and pockets. Who knows if anything went missing to be included in any crime evidence.
Yes to the Jews I am a piece of shit, to be harassed on a daily basis.
When you control the money, you control the police and the criminals.
Here there are more 500 Euro notes than anywhere else in Europe.

    And the killing goes on!
    And the torture goes on!
What’s that got to do with the Jews?
There’s a list of Israeli citizens in the White House Administration.
This 36 person list apparently has 5 inaccuracies is on a nice Jewish site.

So there is widespread worldwide torture going on from an administration with over 30 known Israelis involved.
They are given this authority because they have passed the litmus test.
    They are responsible family members.
Yet in all the countries of overwhelming Jewish influence.
The quantity of prisoners is at record levels.
    The infrastructure is in disrepair.
    All family units are disintegrating.
And the armies are Firing from 20,000 feet at people 10,000 miles away.

And you pious responsible family members harass and interfere as is your whim, and your imagined threats.
    You sunk the whole ship.
And today (and recently) Mondoweiss is leading with the whole dual loyalty issue

Is this all an overreaction,? Tell that to your tortured victims as you apply you another wound.
I have had ten years (and more) of it…

I predict one day your bags and pockets will be emptied.

What joy you get from humiliating others!

Pakistan without Peshawar makes it useless for the US!

    leave a comment »

The lack of apparent news coverage of the Taliban taking over the outskirts of Peshawar is amazing!
Surely geopolitically this is a size 9 earthquake, very able to unleash a tsunami, at least on Afghanistan.

The missing link in the logistical nightmare is why the Pakistani establishment can allow this? First it seems public opinion supports the militants at least in as mush as they hate the US war on terror.

And the militants even in negotiations, must point to the Lal Masjid massacre ( no doubt NeoCon micromanaged advice ) which did more to undermine Musharaf than any other deed. I can visualize the western educated people hearing the transcriptions of the Mullah of the Lal Masjid, satelited onto their computers, and them invoking its obliteration.

The militants can point to the rampant US bombing of fellow Pashtun Muslims (and at times Pakistanis).

There are so many doubts about the spin. Maybe the truth is the US wanted Bhutto back and then changed its mind.

So who now feels indebted to the US? Musharaf? or PPP or even Nawaz Sharif.
To trust America? To follow its advice? Who could do that?

Even a specialist Pakistani site: http://www.ahmedquraishi.com/
has no coverage, nor does the Economist as of this writing. The people in the know, just don’t know how to evaluate the ramifications.

All reports say that all Afghan US/Nato supplies from Pakistan go through Peshawar.

Might have to wait for the Atimes.com tomorrow.

TheNewsPak has an editorial on Peshawar under siege. The paper thinks without radical immediate action, the Taleban will be driving through Peshawar very soon, which means taking it over.

The editorial reads like you’d have expected Said Barre of Somalia in 1991 = desperate and stunned.
    http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=120548
The Times succinctly encapsulates the rising power of the Taleban, and seems resigned to its strengthening. And details the Talebans grip on Peshawar. With only 5 comments.
